Publication editing

Having worked as the editor of two successful business-to-business magazines, I am accustomed to managing the entire process of bringing out a publication:
• Devising forward contents lists, often months ahead
• Researching feature ideas
• Commissioning freelance writers
• Flat planning
• Subbing raw copy
• Writing headlines, captions etc
• Liaising with designers, ad managers, photographers, printers, publishers and subscriptions departments
• Seeing pages through to final proof
